:earsgirl: :Pinkbounc  We (myself, DH and 2 DD's) are going down to WDW in August staying at POFR and have all of our priority seating booked. When we were trying to book a flight we found a better deal coming home on the Tuesday instead of the Sunday. So we figured since the meals are included (we may have to pay for some kids meals out of pocket) we can now afford to stay the two extra nights.

So far we have ps for dinner at: Ohana's, 1900 Park Fare, Cafe May Cafe, Mama Melrose, Coral Reef and Boma and ps for breakfast at: CRT and Chef Mickey's. With the popularity of the free dining our TA needs to make ps for two more table service restaurants (that are included in the meal plan) for us A.S.A.P. Any suggestions would be appreciated (we are all adventurous eaters).
Thanks
SHAY :cool1: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

What are you going to be doing on those 2 days? Will you be in or out of the parks? If in do you know which parks? Just trying to narrow it down for you a bit. :flower:

how about hollywood brown derby at MGM? le cellier at canada is very good. flying fish on the boardwalk is excellent. or jiko at AKL, artist point at WL, or kona cafe for breakfast at the poly? jiko and artist point are 2 of our favorites. actually we enjoy all i have listed. LOL! :earboy2:

I noticed that you didn't have any of the World Showcase restaurants listed and they are some of our favorites. You really can't go wrong with any of them but our particular faves are: Biergarten, Alfredo's and San Angel Inn. All very good food and very cool atmosphere especially Biergarten and San Angel Inn. :wave2:

Here's a few possibilities. These are some of the restaurants we've enjoyed over our last few visits. Check out the menus at allears.net for specifics.

Liberty Tree Tavern - in MK
Whispering Canyon - at Fort Wilderness lodge (an easy boatride from MK)
Restaurant Marakesh - Epcot
Japan's restaurant where they cook at your table (can't remember it's name right now)

I'm still undecided about what we are going to do on the Sunday (we have the Chef Mickey's ps 10:30 for breakfast --- that was the original day we were going to fly out). I was thinking of leaving that day open just in case there were some things we had not seen at one of the parks. I wasn't sure if was too much to have the late breakfast at CM and then another table service meal in the evening? Maybe it's better to even just have one more signature meal instead of the two meals.

On the Monday I think we were going to Typhoon Lagoon in the day time (we originally had it scheduled to do AK in the morning one day and TL in the afternoon) but were unsure about the night. Another thing I would even love to do is rent a car for the day (expensive????) and even drive out to the beach.

On the Tues we are flying out so I was thinking about just using whatever counter service we had left (if any, if not just pay for CS).

When you stay at Disney for a long time (for us it going to be 9 days) do you get sick of the whole experience (never been so )? I remember when we went to Mexico all inclusive and by the end (even though food was amazing!!!) I got tired of eating out. I know there's so much more to do at Disney.

Personally, I would not rent the car and drive to the beach. There is so much to do "at" Disney. If you want to relax, hang out at the pool or whatever, but I think you'd end up overtired from the drive, etc. if you went to the beach. I think leaving the Sunday for "whatever" you feel like you missed is a great idea. We usually do that for the last couple of days of our trip.
we have stayed 9 days before and don't get tired of Disney. Still are sad to leave, but always feel like we had plenty of time to do what we wanted. It makes the trip not feel rushed because we know we have time.

I would consider booking Hoop Dee Doo for 2TS credits per person. It's a GREAT show! Maybe on the Sunday evening. I would probably try to move up the Chef Mickey's breakfast time if possible too.

You could try:

Teppanyaki (Japan) your dd might get a kick out of it (if you get an active chef)

Le Cellier (great steak and a very cute chocolate mousse)

I know that you are doing CRT for breakfast but what about dinner at the castle? Then you could get one of those yummy looking slipper desserts!

Crystal Palace for a little Winnie the Pooh and friends.

Whispering Canyon Cafe

Just a few ideas!

Try the liberty tree tavern at the MK. It is like family style with salad, turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, etc. The dessert is to die for! Apple cobbler/pie with ice cream!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

If you are thinking of only doing one more sit down then how about using the 2 credits it takes for either the Hoop-Dee-Do review or the Spirit of Aloha show. Just another thought for you to consider. :flower:
