Help! Need to make ADR's soon!

Hi all,

Okay, DS (17) and I are going to WDW for my 50th birthday! It will be a short trip. We are staying at the Contemporary. We arrive on Thursday and going to MK. Friday is my actual birthday (but I will be wearing my birthday pin the ENTIRE weekend! ) We are going to HS on Friday. On Saturday, going to AK, with my brother, SIL, and their 2 boys age 5 and 7. My brother is staying in DS.
So, where to make ADR's?! I was thinking CA Grill but not sure if I want Thursday or Friday night? For Saturday nite, I was thinking DS, but where is good for kids but will also acknowledge my b-day? I was thinking T-rex, but how is the food?! I was also thinking Sci-Fi for lunch at HS? DS is a typical (aka bottomless pit) teen, pizza, burgers, but he does like sushi.

Depending on your arrival time on Thursday I would do CG then so you do not miss park time with such a short trip. For DHS would do 50’s PTC for lunch instead of Sci-FI. On our last trip we went during my DH’s birthday. They should acknowledge you no matter what restaurants you select. Prior to Covid they were really good with that. He has food allergies and only wore the button on his actual day but at breakfast he was brought a donut with a candle in it and was sung to then at lunch and dinner they brought him sorbet with a candle in it and sang to him and everywhere we went the CMs wished him a Happy Birthday. Have not been to T-Rex in a while but we enjoyed it. We usually have lunch at Rainforest Cafe on our AK day which is similar.
