Help... we are making a day trip to Disney on 12/6 but would like to spend the night if not too outrageously expensive. Anyone find any good rates (we are Fl residents and Passholders) for this night... when I called yesterday the quoted me the rack rate for the ASSports... at 87.00.... would be willing to spend 87 or more, but not for all star... as we stayed there two weeks ago for 49.00...

Help!

Sorry to be the one to give you the bad news, but that day is very busy due to multiple events including a internet group meet, cheerleading contest etc.

I did get a good rate at AK with an annual pass rate, but that was a while ago and it was the first day the discounts came out and I couldn't even get a discounted moderate the first day the discounts were out. I also tried swan/dolphin with no luck on discounts.

I recently stayed at the Radison Parkway which is non-disney and nice and the last time I looked(a couple of weeks ago) they had AP rooms for 79 or 89.

Also, If you do decide to stay at the all stars be prepared for cheerleaders!

I wish you luck:D

No rooms available at the All Stars... only thing available I was told was AP rates of 279-349 for AKL and OKW.... and rate of 133 for CBC... never stayed there, not sure if I could justify the rate for only a place to sleep, how is it, very nice or just nice... worth the money or would I be better off elsewhere... any offsites with good transportation?

I reserved a standard Savannah room for the 11 & 12 at AKL 2 days ago for $166 inc tax per night using code AMI (AP discount). They had other types of room also available but it did depend who you spoke to. I had to ring three times before I found a CM who had availability( 1st one only had deluxe savannah rooms and the 2nd one had nothing at all) then they also had a problem with their computer as it wouldn't recognise the childrens ages and kept trying to charge them as 3rd & 4th adults, but it was sorted out in the end.

So it's probably worth trying a few times if the first person you speak to cannot offer you anything.

Good luck.

I'll try again... like I said we just need a place to stay. We're not looking for a resort, etc. Just somewhere to lay our heads and $300+ is a little steep for that (I figured we'd be in the room from around 12am to 6am)... so thats like $50 an hour ...lol :earseek: ! Although I would pay for a nicer room just for the "oh we stayed there before" factor... but not as much as I was quoted. I will call and try again with AMI, you'd think that the CM's wouldn't need a code if you told them your location/pass status... but I guess so. I tried code AMH to no avail.

Anyone have any codes for DTD disney hotels? I checked Wyndam they had buy one get one night free but no rooms according to website...

Try www.travelzoo.com. There are several specials listed; for example the Courtyard by Marriott at DTD is $59., but I think there is a 2 night minimum. Some of the other specials might work for you, though.

Here's two more options...

Option 1: Swan or Dophin using the Travelzoo "Parks" code at $99 per night
Option 2: Marriott Fairfield Inn across from Universal Studios on Vineland Road at $49.00 per night. To get this rate, you'll need to call the hotel directly at 1-407-581-5600 and ask for the "Magicard" rate. We're staying there for two nights before we head on site at Disney. And, this rate includes a continental breakfast. It's a great deal and we've never been disappointed with any Marriott hotel.
