Help! Need ressie suggestions for next Thursday through Sunday!

My family and I have a small DVC contract and we were able to reserve a 2BR unit at OKW for this Sunday, the 22nd through the 25th. So, we decided to purchase another contract via the Timeshare Store (everything went well and moved quickly) at the last moment. So, now that we are all set, the contract is done and Disney has us in their system.....there are no 2BR units available for the second half of our vacation (26th-29th)!!!!

What can we or should we do?

I've already posted a last moment rent request on the Disboards here through the rent/trade boards. I've called to even pay cash for a reservation and then rent out our points to recoup the funds....but nothing going there either!

DOH! We need some help! Any and all suggestions are welcomed and needed!

Not much you can do if there aren't any rooms available. This is MNSSHP time, so a VERY popular time at both DVC and the regular WDW resorts. If there is nothing available for cash at CRO anywhere either, you might also try to see if anyone on the rent/trade board has a reservation they are selling that includes those nights.

Yep - that's what you do. AND you make a back up plan - even if that means a reservation for something off site. Make sure the back up reservation is something you can canel at the last minute.

Also, since the days you want are at the end of yor stay, ask the CM at check in if there is anything they can do for you.

We did an all day calling thing and finally got a 1BR at Saratoga Springs for the entire trip. Whew. We downgraded to a 1BR, but the wifey and I can stand sleeping on the sofabad rather than having to worry about piecing together the rest of the trip or moving from one resort to another.

Have any of you ever stayed at SSR? Just wondering we have reservations in December so I was wondering when you return if you could tell me how it was and maybe give me suggestions on which building, how the bus system is, and suggestions on dining. Heard not much choice at SSR.
