HELP need one hotel stay

I am not sure what to do! I booked a Friday-Tuesday stay before I booked airfare. The airfare was much cheeper for Thursday-Monday stay. I called Disney to modify my booking and was told that there are no rooms at the Yacht for Thursday. I am traveling December 8-12 and find it odd that I can't get a room. I kept the 9-12 dates and I will hope that something opens up. How often should I call to see if they have another night available? When should I find another resort?

I'd keep calling but I would also book a night somewhere to protect yourself. Have you checked any other WDW resorts for one night?

Chances are something will work out at the Yacht Club or you could check on switching for the whole trip. What about the Beach Club? Also, you might work with a Disney TA who would do all that for you.
