HELP! Need MGM Recommendations!

Help! I need a restaurant choice for MGM Studios! The ADR would be for lunch.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre is a nice choice. The food's good, and the atmosphere is really fun (I love a restaurant where you eat in a convertible... )

The food at Mama Melrose is also really good...

I know Sci-Fi doesn't always get good reviews here, but it is our tradition to eat here for lunch on our last day of each trip. The food here has always been good. For me, it is a good lunch spot. So, my vote is Sci-Fi.

I'm sorry in advance for posting the alternate view on Sci Fi, but I do have one. Our experience has been average food, poor service and the atmosphere gets old after the first reel of movies. We do enjoy Prime Time a great deal we go there each trip and recieve great service, yummy "home cooking type comfort food" as well as the atmosphere being a lot of fun.

I think some of the "argument" between these two is purely a matter of what your family enjoys most as far as atmosphere.

We love the Prime Time Cafe in MGM. Have tried Mama's and Brown Derby and weren't impressed. 50's is our place in MGM now.

For a TS lunch, we enjoy Sci-Fi. The food is alright, and the atmosphere is pretty cool. We never get tired of eating in those cars.

Sci-FI is a traditional MGM lunch for us. Great burgers and shakes and kids love the whole drive-in theme - who could resist eating in a car!

We also like Prime Time Cafe and Hollywood Brown Derby for lunch also.

Sci Fi Dine In - fun setting, okay food, but delicious milkshakes!
