I am in need of 5 small gifts for my daughter's dance teacher helpers. They are all college age kids although I'm not sure how many of them are in school right now. I know two for sure live at home with their parents and I don't know about the others.
I thought about McD's or something but since they are all pretty serious dancers I don't know if they eat much fast food. My problem is that I really only want to spend about $5 a piece on them. We did the BlockBuster cards and popcorn last year.

Any suggestions? All ideas are much appreciated! (oh and I am REALLY not creative so making something is not really an option)

How about Starbucks gift certificates? (Or the local coffee place, if it's something different)

what about a starbucks card with ribbon around it and a candy cane.

or what about those magic stretchy gloves you can get at target, walmart, etc.... with a nice travel/small sized lotion stuffed in them with a ribbon.

I bet they would use fast food GC's. How about Starbucks? Check out some of Christmas stuff at say, Target or Wal Greens. I found some cute Christmas picture holders last year for my daughter's friends at Target. I don't know if you have a Wal Greens or not but they have some really cute snowmen snow globes for only 99 cents that you could put with a large candy cane. Or look at the ornaments at Wal Mart, Target, etc. Occasionally they have some that go with dancing.

Keep these great ideas coming!!!

I also forgot to mention that 4 are girls and 1 is a boy so I need at least one thing "non-girly".

How about a holiday mug with some hot chocolate packets and a candy cane? Or a Holiday ornament? Small flashlight? CD Holder?

Some of the things we've done were actually between 5-8 but they got great raves afterwards are

.Special soaps and bath puff
.Makeup brush set
.Flashlight with batteries (did this for a male school teacher) or they now have the flashlights that don't require batteries you just shake them and voila
.Colorful Post-It notepads
.Nail polish kit
.Movie theater gift certificates *I know you did video ones but this is a little different*
.Homemade cookie mix with instructions for baking
.Makeup tote
.Gel pens and stationary
.Gourmet coffees with a personal coffee cup

That's all I can remember for now but I'm sure I'll have more later on!

I would get them bath and body works stuff. Wait for a good sale and get them each a few travel size items.
