Ok , my question is, if you book 2 rooms with the ap rate, do you
have to check in and leave at the same time?

Meaning can one room be for Sunday thru Friday
and the other room Monday thru Friday? We
want to leave on Sunday but the other party
on our discount pass can't leave until Monday.
Will they let us use the ap with this situation? :scratchin

As long as the person with the Annual Pass is there for the check in process, there is no problem. I did this a couple of times with my in-laws. Once they arrived after us but on the same day. Not a problem at all to check us all in. The other time they were coming a week later. I just went down and got all their paperwork done before they got there. My in-laws have never spent one minute at a Disney front desk!

Just make both reservations at the same time and have them linked in the system. It's really pain free.

Thanks for posting disnut8 -- we have a similar situation coming up in March where we (the AP holders) are checking in on Wed...but SIL isn't arriving until Thu. Are you saying we can go ahead and show our AP's when we check in for the discount verification on both rooms? We really didn't want to hang around the resort all day on Thur. waiting for them to arrive (they are driving) just to flash our AP at the front desk. I am assuming she would still have to check in though as she will need to give them her credit card to pay for the balance on the room as well as misc. charges.

We just returned from our 2/10 to 2/18 stay. I am an AP holder and we had two other rooms for DS and her in-laws. They arrived on 2/11 and left on 2/16. I was told to be there to show my AP when both of the other rooms' occupants arrived for check in. We arranged that they would call my cell from the airport so that DD and I could spend the morning at MK. We met them at POR and did the check in with them. POR never asked to see my AP, but we had some complicating factors with getting connecting rooms, etc., so I was glad I was there to coordinate everything. (The others are WDW novices.)

It worked fine, but the AP holder must be there first.
