I am trying to decide between the Hyatt Grand Cypress, Universal's Royal Pacific or Disney's Coranado Springs for a 3 night with just my two daughters, 3 and 9. Will most likely not do Universal, jsut disney. And they love the pool so will spend a good deal of time there.

What is your opinion?

I see no reason to stay at the RPR if you're not doing Universal. The main reason to stay onsite USF is the front of the line perk and the hotel is a good 15 to 20 mins from Disney.

The Hyatt Grand Cypress is an elegant 4 star that is very golf oriented.

I would suggest onsite Disney, but is there a reason you chose Coronado Springs?

Well if you aren't doing Universal, then why are you even considering the Royal Pacific.

On your other two choices. That is a strange selection. They Hyatt will run around $200 a night and the CSR should be less. Both have nice pools. The grounds at the Hyatt are magnificent, but you would probably need to drive to the parks and pay for parking. (I was not impressed with their shuttle service)

Thanks for the replys. I chose CS b/c I have never stayed there and the pool area looked good. Expedia has a rate at the Hyatt only a little more then the CS, I think around $160 and it looks like a beautiful resort.

thanks for the info on the shuttle b/c I was not planning on renting a car. I did want room sevice and i don't believe the modorates at Disney have it.

But it sounds like the disney property is the way to go.
