Yes it's all there in the title. Picture the scene, plane is literally taking off at Gatwick when DH says 'you haven't mentioned Universal tickets, have you packed them' turns out I was so busy with Disney planning while we are here they are at home! Fortunately DH saw funny side so I'm still alive and we are here again in December so not end of the world as we can use them then but just wondered if anything similar has ever happened to anyone else and is there anything parks will do. We were thinking of asking DD at home to scan and email them to us to see if Universal can issue us with new ones but I am guessing we will just have to buy replacements?

Hi again.

Just a thought, if you can get someone to get to the tickets for you, get them sent by carried overnight to your resort, might cost 15 quid?

Steve

Is there not a ticket reference/sequence number for each ticket? I would imagine you are not the first person this has happened to and I know that Disney will issue the tickets again on that side, so I don't see why Universal won't. Can you speak to your DD and ask her to ring Universal and try find out what they need?

You will be able to use your tickets in December. We purchased Universal tickets 5 years ago and have been told by Universal that we can use them when we go whenever that is. Once the ticket is activated at the booth we have 14 days of use.

They should have a barcode or number on the back so I guess if your DD can email that to you then they should be able to replace them? I don't know for sure though but Disney did it for us.

Have you got an e mail with a ref from when you paid. I got my Sea World front of line passes like this today.

Thanks everyone. Am going to get DD to email me pics of ticket backs to see what we can do. Will let you know how it goes:goodvibes

It said on our letter from Floridatix to take a photo of the back incase you loose them so you must be able to do it that way.

I hope you can this all figured out, but I am going to share this thread with my DW who tells me I'm crazy for being so obsessive over my "Disney" folder.

Every year I buy a cheap plastic display folder and put EVERYTHING related to the trip in it the moment I book it or get it including our passports! I don't let anyone mess with my folder and even have a sheet with all of the reference numbers on it for every ADR, the photopass, the tickets, the airport hotel, etc.

The idea of forgetting something freaks me out! Good luck in getting your tickets replaced!

Not to worry you but that's exactly what I do. I'm a bit OCD I think. I had two A4 wallets one with Estas insurance docs etc. The other has individual A4 sleeves in it for hotel, parking, car hire, boarding cards etc etc all labelled. That's why my husband thinks its so funny because I'm so obsessive. He reckons it made me over confident and that's why I forgot :confused3 I think it was just because as we are on site and had magic bands etc all sorted I just never gave Universal second thought. DD has emailed me details so will try either tomorrow or Friday :)

I am exactly the same!!

Hi all, just quick update to let you know got them replaced free of charge no problem at all. Just had to take copies from e-mail DD sent me to guest services with some photo ID. Person serving us didn't bat an eyelid so think they must hear it a lot. She gave us new immediately without hesitation :thumbsup2

Great news :)

DH and I are both obsessive, so everything for us goes in a folder too as soon as we get tickets, email confirmation, travel insurance, plane tickets, ESTAs, passports, hotel booking confirmation, money lol :) it was huge on our last DIY trip lol!

Enjoy universal!!

So glad you got it sorted so easily. It is helpful for anyone else who may have this happen to them in the future - and there will be more, lol

Sounds like me, which is probably a bit ironic for someone who packs the night before :rolleyes1

I have one of those plastic envelope style wallets with a press stud (not sure what they are called) and put my papers in there in the order they will be needed along with way with a sticky note tab on so I can easily locate any papers I need for the next step. So for example, airport hotel confirmation would be at the front, followed by any documents pertaining to flights (extra luggage purchase receipts, ESTA print outs etc) ...... As I use any of them they get moved from the front to the back. It makes life so much easier. I guard that as closely as I guard my passport.
