Help! Need a pin expertise!

As far as I know this is about the rarest pin out there!
It is the VMK VIP guest pin!

Does anybody know any differently?
If you do I would like to know because I am considering trading it for some retired stuff?
Am I making a big mistake?
Is this pin rarer than I thought?
Someone please help!

As far as I know, it has been given out as a prize award for one of the contests, but other than that, is not in general circulation.

There was talk that it would replace the VIP badge, but this doesn't seem to have come about.

I would say it is one of the "rarest" pins in VMK, as there is no set way to get one at the moment, and only a few people other than staff and testers have them.

Of course, Disney could start giving them out tomorrow to quest people instead of the VIP badge. One never knows with VMK.

Personally, I wouldn't trade everything I owned for one, but I would trade a lot. Do you care to say what you are trading for it?

Unfortunately, I don't know!
I am unsure in offering it for trade if it is that rare.
So, at the moment I am probably not going to trade it.
I was trading it on another site for a complete yellow dress and space suit!
But if it is that rare, I think I will just keep it!

honestly if I had to guess, I would bet that it will eventually be part of the quest items given out. When that happens, the pin will immediately decrease in value (once there is known way to earn it)

So, it really is a betting game. You can get a lot for it now, because no one really knows how much it will be worth in the future.

The space suit and yellow dress are known to be limited (at least for now). If you have really had your heart set on those costumes, and don't really care about the pin, then go ahead and trade. If you are only trading as speculation that the costumes will be worth more than the pin some day, then it is more difficult to decide.

In the end, it is your decision. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose in a trade, but if you each get something you want, then you can both win.

You can never be sure with VMK. If I trade for that pin I promise you it will be available the next day

That's what I am scared of!
On one hand I would love to have the space suit!
On the other hand if they come out with the new space suit ( which is probably as soon as I trade the pin for it) and I had traded it for the suit I would probably have to go looking for the pin! ARG!

I don't know if it is the rarest pin, but in my opinion it is the coolest pin. You are lucky to have it. If you like it, I say keep it and enjoy it, but if it's not your favorite and you can get your hearts desire of a space suit and princess dress, then go for that. I'm all for enjoying all the things you love, as opposed to having rare things for the sake of having rare things. I guess what I'm saying is, I agree with canadian.

There in lies the problem . . .
I am torn between them all and not for trade value but for likeableness (yes I like to make up words from time to time )
I like the fact I have a unique purple pin, but I also would heart to have the space suit! Arg! What to do, what to do!

well look at it this way,

they may or may not release the pin sometime right? We know that the yellow dress and space suit (yellow) are done. They may come out with a different color space suit, but not the one with yellow trim.

So...

You are trading something that is limited right now (maybe forever who knows), for two things that are definitely not coming back (in those specific colors). Could you possibly get another pin down the line? maybe, maybe not. So in the end it is up to you. But personally, I would trade it and hope to get another pin down the line. But that's just me. ymmv. Of course, because it is so rare right now, maybe you could get even more than the dress and space suit. never know.

I suffer from that dilema often. I have rare things but there are more rare things that I want. I am trying to make myself remember that I can always get something again if I trade it and feel bad about it I can get it back, probably at a higher cost but it is possible.

I got burned with a crown. I traded everything valuable I had for on and the next day they released it again. Then I blew out a lot of credits on that explorer suit thinking it would be popular.

I have a bunch of lion pins and I just know they are going to release it for sale and I am going to kick myself.

I kind of thing this is part of the fun of the game.

Personally I think that a space suit is possible to get. You have to have good stuff to offer for it. I would give yourself a little time of really trying for a suit. Take off the pin when you do because of someone sees you wearing it they will insist on trading for it. Offer up a lot of really good stuff that you will be able to get again. Probably the easiest way is to get it in pieces. Get a pair of pants that is the most difficult to get and work from there.
