Help Name our new Chocolate Lab...She is so cute UPDATE: Her name is......page 4!!!

Between the 5 of us we can not come to a conclusion as to what to name our new addition to the family.

We already have 2 cats named: Simba and Sassy.

OUr new addition is a female chocolate lab with green eyes and is 8 weeks old. To me, she is on the chubby side......

Any suggestions??

Way back when I had a black lab, my ex and I wanted to get a chocolate lab and the name we'd picked was "Mousse".

One of our favorite books of the time (Midnight by Dean Koontz) had a canine companion for independence lab named Moose, so we went from there!

I will get another lab when I move, and I still want to name it Mousse. However, I think two kids will want to have a say in naming!

how about a regal name.......Princess Jasmine........our dalmatian was Jasmine Rajah.....she was quite the lady...of course we called her jazzy for short most of the time...........I wish we could do another puppy.....but guess we will wait a while longer

I always thought naming a chocolate Lab Hershey would be cute but it's probably been done to death.

How about something from mythology like Athena or something Shakesperean like Desdemona.

I second Mocha. We have a chocolate lab (her name is May - she came to us with that name already). I wanted to rename her Mocha, but my little guys had a fit, especially my 4 y.o. "No, dad, her name isn't Mocha. It's May. You can't change her name."

My neighbors just got a chocolate lab a few months ago. They named her Belle. They arent even Disney freaks and didnt make the connection until I pointed it out.
Theyre beautiful dogs!

I like Reese, cute name and most people will get the chocolate connection. We had a choc. lab in the neighborhood namded Hershey, but his family moved a few months ago... my dogs really miss their friend!
