We are looking to head down to Myrtle Beach in late August (17th or 18th) for a week. We would like to stay in a condo with nice pool features (lazy river, indoor/outdoor swimming, etc).

So budget friends, I remember in the past getting email deals about last minute summer sales. Should I hold out for the deals? If you have been in late August, when do you usually book?

Any favorite accommodations? We would prefer queen beds to doubles and a washer/dryer would be a huge bonus but not a deal breaker.

Thank you! We have been to Myrtle before, but only in the off seasons (May and late April). We have always gotten great deals.

Thanks!

We go often and always stay at Beach Cove in North Myrtle. It's right across from Bear Foot Landing. They have 1, 2 and three bedroom units. They have a nice lazy river, small indoor pool, and several very nice outdoor pools and hot tubs. I would go ahead and book and request a price adjustment if they offer a special. We really like the place.
