HELP!!! movie with Mickey's shadow and a radio??

Does anyone know this movie? My 3 year nephew has been asking my sister for a Mickey Mouse movie all week. She bought one this morning and its not the one he wants.. He keeps asking for the one with Mickey's shadow and the radio..she has gone through all her movies, thinking its on a preview of one of the Disney movies and still cant find it...

any ideas?

Could he be remembering an individual cartoon rather than a movie? I think I remember a radio in "Mickey Through the Looking Glass" (ETA NotUrsula is right; I remembered wrong, it's actually "Thru the Mirror") but I can't remember if Mickey's shadow is in that one. If he can remember anything else at all about it, that might help to narrow it down.

Is it possible that the shadow Mickey and the radio are the prelude to an old cartoon? I was wondering if it's something like the Bugs Bunny at the beginning of Warner Brothers cartoons.

Not a movie. That has got to be one of two possible Mickey short films, either Thru the Mirror or Mickey's Parrot. My money is on Mickey's Parrot, because Thru the Mirror is a wee bit frightening for most little ones, but Mickey's Parrot is one of the very few really funny Mickey shorts. My 3yo loves it.

We have both of these on the boxed set "Mickey Mouse in Living Color, 1936-37." (It's one of the Treasures series, the ones sold in the silver "film can" case.)

In Mickey's Parrot, Mickey hears a radio report warning that there is a dangerous escaped convict on the loose, and being Mickey, decides that he has to arm himself to defend the house. At the same time, a passing truck happens to lose a parrot out of the cargo area, and it sneaks into the basement of Mickey's house to escape a rainstorm. Mickey and Pluto hear the parrot barging around and decide that it must be the convict. Hijinks ensue. There are at least two sequences where shadows add to Mickey's confusion about the source of the noise.

If he watches a lot of the Disney Channel he may be thinking about one of the new Disney Remix were they take a old black and white Mickey cartoon(shadow) and mix it with Disney's pop star music like the Jones Brothers or Hannah Montana there is one wear Mickey turns on a old radio and the music starts going. My son is almost four and loves these.

This is going to sound crazy but as soon as I read your description, I pictured a t-shirt that I saw on our last trip to WDW in July. I could be totally making it up because I googled it and I can't find a pic anywhere but I'm almost positive!
