Help! MNSSHP costumes

Halloween isn't celebrated as much in the UK as it is in the US so I wasn't planning on going in costume to the MNSSHP. However, after hearing that so many people go dressed up, I think I might (when in Rome, etc....)
Trouble is...I can't really hire costumes in the UK because we will need to hire them for at least 2 weeks (the length of our holiday) and any home made effort is likely to get us thrown out of the park :teeth:

Can anyone suggest where we can buy or hire costumes for me and my family?

What do others DISers do (especially those from the UK and abroad)?

If I don't get any ideas I guess I could go without a costume and makeup and pass as yoda :yoda:

When are you going? You could stop at the local WalMart, Target, or Walgreens stores when you arrive in Orlando...they have tons of costumes there...the closer you get to Halloween however, the less of a selection they will have! You could also order them from any online store and have them shipped to your hotel.

Throwing some pixie dust your way in hopes it helps you find your costumes!

My favorite costumes are the ones you make. There are so many things that you can make out of pair of sweats-like get a white pair of tops and bottoms, take a bottle of black fabric paint and add spots, and voila you are a cow. You can wear red clothes and glue horns onto a head band and instantly you are a devil. You could certainly google the term Halloween Costumes to get more ideas or check out the web site familyfun.com (or its something like that). If all else fails, you certainly can find a store bought costume on ebay or a store when you arrive in the US. Have fun!

have fun with any costumn you wear but keep in mind that you will be moving among crowds, on and off rides, and sometimes in the restrooms with your small children (if you have any at this time) and costumns can get in your way. we ended up peeling some parts off along the way. good thing they were not expensive or had to be returned. :yay:
