Help!-MK to Contemporary then resort????

Hi!

We are staying at the All Stars Music in April. On our very first night we'll be going to the Magic Kingdom(before we get the hang of the transporation system-where to catch what etc) We have an ADR for dinner at Chef Mickey at 8:25 p.m.

I know we can take the monorail to the Contemporary then can get back to ASMu directly from the Contemporary and where do we get the bus? Or...do we have to go all the way back to the Magic Kingdom during the closing rush and catch our resort bus there?

Please say we can grab it from the Contemporary or we may cancel that dinner!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I really don't think you can go directly from the Contemporary to an All Star resort. You'll have to either walk or take the monorail to MK/TTC and transfer there. If it is in your budget take a cab from the Contemporary to your resort. We did this on a couple of occassions on our recent trip to POR and it was a lifesaver! IMO, a few bucks for cab fare is worth the bus hassle from time to time. Have fun, and don't let transpo issues dictate your vacation, there is always a solution!

No, there are no resort to resort buses.
But the walk from the Contemporary to MK is only 5-10 minutes. Much faster than trying to take the monorail all the way around the loop to MK.
And the bus area is the first thing you will come to on the way back- so it is even less time than getting to the MK turnstiles. Well worth it after your Chef Mickey dinner. I would not cancel!
