This is a long shot, but here goes. I saved a small Publix plain quick oatmeal container because I wanted to try the meatloaf recipe on the back, but my husband found it, thought it was mislaid trash, and tossed it. I was just now going to prep some things for suppers next week and discovered this. I do remember that it had oatmeal, beefy onion soup mix, and something else I thought was an interesting addition but can't remember what right now.

So if any of you out there happen to have a Publix oatmeal box and see a meatloaf recipe, would you please post it here?

No other recipes trying to be helpful, please. I have a favorite tried & true recipe, I just wanted to try this particular one.

So that you don't think I'm lazy as heck: my closest Publix is about 20 miles away from home so driving there to look at the recipe is not going to happen. I have already searched unsuccessfully on their website.

Thank you! :worship:

THAT'S IT!!!! Thank you so much!

It's the shredded potatoes I thought was an interesting addition.

I am so happy you could help so quickly! I really appreciate it. :goodvibes

That sounds good!

Do you use the frozen shredded potatoes (plain hash browns) or do you grate/shred fresh potatoes?

Darn I just made some ground beef I bought yesterday into patties and froze them, I would have made this today.

I'm currently debating which to use, but I will probably use frozen shredded hashbrowns.

Using frozen breakfast potatoes in recipes has been a revelation for me. Earlier in the week I made a chicken pot pie and added frozen cubed potatoes (Southern style diced hash browns) to the peas & carrots. Awesome!

Thank you I'm going to try this, this week.

I thought I would come back and post, now that we've eaten the meatloaf!

It was good, but we decided that we prefer my usual recipe. This had good flavor, but my usual has more flavor.

I think the visual of the hash browns was a little off-putting. :rotfl:
