I'm being held hostage by my 14yo dd and being forced to watch "The Mikado" as perfomed by the English Opera Company. I don't like opera on a good day, and i positively can't stand Gilbert & Sullivan. But DD is enthralled so here i sit.

Good thing AI comes on shortly.

Oh I love the Mikado!! Tell your DD I would gladly sit and watch it with her, as would my 21 year old DD!

Oh, come on! A little light opera won't kill you. Thanks to the Wonderpets my seven-year-old sings EVERYTHING!!! Personally I think American Idol is a painful vortex. Yet both are kind of entertaining in their own ways...
