We're going in November with 5-day Park Hoppers. Our kids are 4 and 8. We'll require a mid-afternoon break for a couple of hours on the days we stay out late in order to avoid the 4 year-old overtired meltdown. (And maybe the Mommy meltdown, but that's neither here nor there.) We have 4 of our park days planned, but aren't sure what to do with the 5th.

Day 1: MK (with AM EMH), go back in the evening for 8pm Wishes
Day 2: AK in the morning, EP in afternoon/evening for Illuminations
Day 3: HS, 7pm Fantasmic!
Day 4: UNSURE
Day 5: MK (park closes at 7 for MNSSHP, so we'll likely stay until close)

So, what do we do on Day 4?

A few things to note:
* We went to AK last time, and the only thing my kids enjoyed were the rides. So it's really a 1/2 day park for us. If we didn't have PH this time, we'd skip it.
* My kids have never been to Epcot. I have no idea if they'll enjoy it or not.
* We'll be spending most of "Day 0" at DTD/Springs

So, I would love to hear your suggestions for Day 4!

I vote for Gatorland. Awesome place and your kids will love getting close to gators.

I would think Epcot will be a lot like AK for your kids. My kids have always preferred AK over Epcot. I would use the unplanned day as a day to return to the park(s) that the kids enjoyed the most from the previous days.

Have you considered dropping the 5th day for the MNSSHP instead? You can use your party ticket to get into the park at 4pm.

Epcot again for sure! We got the kids excited by telling them about the cool stores (especially the one in Japan)- its so nice to walk around the different countries and trying counter service treats. When in November? If early in the month you'll be there for food and wine festival

People always want to skip Epcot but its our favorite park. Our 2 9-year-olds played Agent P's Adventure for hours and begged to go back to Epcot every day after that. Mission Space is DDs favorite ride and we all love Soarin and Test Track. The Seas Pavilion is wonderful and the East and West Innoventions can keep kids happy all afternoon. Free soda samples at Club Cool and different snacks in every country in World Showcase. I could go on and on...

I agree with a day at Epcot. Do some research on what attractions are there. Its a lot more than shopping and eating. Joannamet gave you some good hints on things for kids. And don't overlook the live entertainment offerings.

My vote is for Epcot, too. Plan your FP+ there for now. But also see what they like your first few days. If you think they'd enjoy something different, you should be able to switch up your selections.

I'd also consult easywdw.com for predicted crowds and see if you can line up your park days to avoid the most crowds. B

I also vote Epcot. I had a 4 and 7 year old the last trip and they loved it! I told them about agent P for our upcoming trip and they are excited to try it

I echo everyone else - epcot is great. The kids may even really like it. Soarin, test track and spaceship earth could certainly be fun for them. It's also cool to explore all the countries and eat there for lunch or dinner. If for any reason they get bored at epcot, you can always go back to the room and take a nice nap and then come back for illuminations at night. In my opinion, this is the best fireworks show that disney puts on. Definitely don't miss it!
