We are 143 days out! I am so excited! I am already using Touring Plans to get our schedule together. I have several holes and would love you guys to help me! About us.... Our last visit was 3 years. Both my kiddos are 12 years old. We are staying at the Polynesian for 3 nights and have 4 day Park Hopper. We will likely follow the Touring Plans for Tweens. We are still debating on a meal plan. If we do one it will be quick service. We are not big foodies. We just want to get the most out of our short trip in the happiest place on earth! :-)
This is what I have so far... Please chime in and give me suggestions.
Thursday: Magic Kingdom
- Arrive early to Polynesian to drop off bags
- Catch monorail to MK
- Lunch at Pinocchio Village Haus (I LOVE the caprese flatbread)
- Dinner at Pecos Bill Cafe
- Parade and fireworks
Friday: Epcot
- Lunch = Need suggestions!
- Dinner = One of the countries
- Illuminations
Saturday: Animal Kingdom (extra magic hour in morning) and Hollywood Studios

A couple of suggestions for Epcot. We often pick up food at different countries and meet at the American pavilion. Our daughter doesn't eat much and just gets something there to eat. Our son often gets sushi. I may get fish and chips from the UK or a brat from Germany. A second suggestion is Sunshine Seasons in the Land pavilion. They have a variety of food and much of it is well thought out and prepared.

My favorite place in Animal Kingdom is Flame Tree BBQ. It's prepared onsite unlike most other BBQ at Disney. Pizza Planet has possibly the best counter service pizza in WDW. My wife likes the Yak and Yeti counter service.

Be Our Guest is a quick service restaurant at lunch. The experience is great. It may be hard to get now. It's popular. Columbia Harbor House is good. One different option is to walk over (or take the monorail over, to the Contemporary. The Contempo Cafe has a wide variety of food, is not usually crowded and is better than most counter service locations. The walk from the gate is about five minutes.
