i emailed canon and any eos compatible lens will fit but some might need to be upgraded...i had a28-80 sigma and a promaster 100-300 for my rebel slr, both fit but the sigma needed upgraded( $14, 10 for the upgrade and 4 to ship) if you have asigma lens you can go to their website and they tell you what lens need upgrade ( not many do, just happened mine did )i really can't say i see a lot of difference between my 100-300 from now and then ( hated it then, not crazy about it now either) but there is a 1.6 crop between digital and film lens so it looks like you cropped the outer edge of the picture off...( and the cental part

zoomed closer i don't think, like when you crop a picture & it ends up looking bigger) i think technically it might make it more of a narrow angle..maybe i'll notice it more on the other lens
i got my body from buydig.com..it all went great...i also have used beach camera, also happy with them and they seemed ( when i was looking ) to have the cheapest prices from a good store. I 'd use either again. i got cards from newegg and they are fantastic, got to me within 2 days and i didn't pay extra for that . would definitely use them again
it took me forever to decide what to get but i love this camera now
( was totally over whelmed the first night but it had been a rotten day) i am thrilled with the pics even with my dog lens...can't wait to get the 18-125 , i'll be so
