Help me with ADR please!

I know the dates we're going (Nov 26-Dec 2). We've picked out 7 meals we'd like to go to. Now what? When I call for ressies, do I need to tell them times? Dates? Or should I let them book it? I'm thinking we'll probably do a breakfast and dinner on 2 days {like CM and CP at MK in one day and H&V and SciFi(not character I know) at MGM on another} We'll then do just 1 character meal for 3 other days. Am I thinking too much? We live here and have AP but have never actually done a meal there or had a real vacation. I'm so unsure of what to do.

Hi,

You do need to tell them the time and the day you want to eat at each restaurant. If the time you request is not available they will give you a time that is available.

You will be able to call for ADRs on May 30 (180 days in advance) and if you are staying on site you can make all your ADRs for the whole week in the first phone call.

Bob gave you good advice. The only thing I would add to it is that the Character breakfast Adr's will fill up fast so you will want to call as soon as possible to get those first. As an example the CRT breakfast will be filled in under 20 minutes from the time you are able to make the ADR's. This one is extreem but it shows you that people are after those popular ADR's. You mentioned CP breakfast I would start with that one.

So the soonest time I can call for ADR is May 30th? I can go ahead and book my trip though right? What time do phone lines open? I'll be on the phone at midnight if I have to.

As for CP, if we don't get in, it's not such a huge loss. I have 2 boys and it was mainly for the little princess in ME!

Hi again Karlise,

Yes, you can book your trip any time you want, and you can book ADRs at 180 days from the day of arrival. As I said, if you are staying on site you can book all of your ADRs on one phone call. But if you are off site, you'll need to call back each day when you hit day 180 for the specific day you want to book.

Phone lines open at 7:AM Eastern time, but there is no need to call that early unless you are trying for CRT.
