Help me Understand please

We have a cruise planned for 2010 on DVC pts. If something happens and I need to cancel that cruise what happens to my pts? Do they go back to my account where I can use them for WDW instead?

Hi Newman Family,
If you used your DVC points to book a cruise and need to cancel the points will become Reservation Status Points. They will not go back into your account as normal points that can be used at a DVC resort. I explained Reservation Status Points below.

Reservation Status points come from canceling a cruise or reservation outside of a DVC resort. The points can not be "put back" into the account. The points can be used for any of the Disney hotels,the Concierge Collection,or a DVC cruise.

The points can not be used for World Passport or any DVC resort. The points must be used in the year they are designated and can not be banked, borrowed, or transferred.
