I apologize, because I realize this is on this board a lot, but every time I see it explained I can't figure out which is correct! I am staying at a resort so is it 60+10, basically 70 days out I can make the reservations? OR is it 60 days out plus the length of your stay up to 10 days? In my case I am staying 5 nights, so 65 days out?
Thanks for not ridiculing me :)

FYI, if you want to get more specific, you can book online beginning at 8AM 60 days out from your check-in day. And you might already be planning for this, but you should consider trying the more popular restaurants ('Ohana, for example) later in your trip - maybe day 63 or 64 will improve your chances. Just something a lot of us have learned over the years. Good luck! Hope you get all your dining choices!

Actually it is 6am EST online (although recent reports have had it opening at 5:45am) and 7am EST by phone.
OMG - so sorry. You're right. I just made a DVC room reservation at 8AM, so that's what I was thinking. Thanks for getting the OP the right info. I should fact-check!

I was confused by this too! I sat on hold for over an hour with Disney dining to get my answer. I should have look here first!

60 days from the day you check in will be your ADR day. On that day you'll be able to make ADRs for your entire trip (up to 10 days).
I assume you have to be signed in at the disney web site to do the ADR. So does the days show up if you check in on say Sept 12 you can do ADR on July 12 for the ten days after sept 12. Does this makes sense?

60 days before September 12th is actually July 14th.

So, if you are staying on site from September 12th to September 22nd, you can make your reservations for the entire trip, beginning on July 14th. If you are staying from September 12th to September 15th, you can still make reservations beginning on July 15th, but only up until September 15th (check-out date).

Did you mean July 14 instead of July 15. We are actually staying at GF from Sept 12 - 17 so I can make ADR up to 17th. Correct?

According to the time and date calculator, it's July 14th.

So, yes, on that date, you can make the ADR up to the 17th.
