Help me to decide where to stay!

Hi everyone!
We're going to Disneyland next year in May (woo hoo!) and staying at the Disneyland hotel, however, I was recently doing some planning, and an earlier trip in October may be a possibility as well.
This one would have to be more of a budget trip so we were thinking of staying at one of the hotels across the street.
Here are some rates I got, which would you go with?

1. Ramada Maingate - $95/night
2. Camelot - $121/night
3. Fairfield - $85/night
4. Tropicana - $101/night

It would be me, DH, and our daughter who is 2.5. Thanks!!!

Personally, I would say the Fairfield. That is where we usually stay and we've always been happy there.

I used to book DL as a travel agent and all my clients really liked the Fairfield. I stayed at the Maingate but wouldn't recommend it.

I picked the Fairfield,but for price only. I still like the pool at Camelot.

We stayed at the Ramada Inn Maingate and didn't really care for and I wouldn't reccomend it our first room was super dirty the 2nd room we got was only ok but you can't beat the location

I stayed at FFI with DBF on our last trip and it was okay. Our room was a little dusty but other than that, no complaints. The staff were friendly and provided guests with complimentary cups of lemonade in the afternoon. I wouldn't mind staying there again and you can't beat $85/night

I recommend Peacock Suites, you get two separate rooms-a living room and a bedroom plus the staff are great. Disneyland is about a 10 minute walk or you can get the ART Shuttle to anywhere in Anaheim for $4 a day! Its a great hotel, right next door to Gardenwalk too.
