Help me think through the implications of a MNSSHP on Labor Day

Going down for a couple of days for my birthday and would attend the MNSSHP on Monday, September 3 or Friday, September 7. Will the Labor Day event be still crowded with the last-hurrah holiday weekend attenders, or will they have cleared out for back-to-school/work?

Obviously just guessing here, but I’m going to go with a lot of “last-hurrah holiday weekend attenders.”

We’re well back in school by then, but the last few years (and likely this year too) we try to do a quick long-weekend trip around then (or the next weekend) to do MNSSHP.

I am hoping it is not too busy as I am planning on attending that one! I was disappointed to see there is no party on Thursday of Labor Day week this year. That was the one I attended in 2017 and I thought the crowd level was good. I try to avoid parties on Fri, Sat and Sun.

The only day we wanted to go was Thursday. I'm keeping the idea of Friday out there, but it looks like we'll skip it this year. Too much other stuff going on for us this trip!
