Help me start my Happy Dance!

Please tell me I'm not alone, and that others have felt this way. Our trip, 10 night stay at Riverside, is coming up in just 2 1/2 weeks. We leave on Sunday the 19th of August, free dining on a bounce back etc. Trip is paid for, spending money set aside, kids ready, and for some reason, for the first time in the past 6 or 8 trips, I'm just NOT excited! Really, by now I'm usually jumping off the walls with joy, anticipation and just general Disney happiness. This is REALLY upsetting to me; so much so that my wife even mentioned it!

With that said, I AM happy about going, but I'm just not "counting the days yet". Maybe it's been the crazy summer at work, home and the fact that summer will be over all too soon, but I'm almost bummed out. I'm spending time on these boards, and the Disney site trying to get the excitement up, but I can't!

I right there in the same boat as you and we leave tomorrow! Turn around I'm right behind ya see

I know I'll have a great time, just not bouncing off the wall like I usually do.

I think in my case it's because we are going with family and there touring style is different not sure how it will all work out...my family (dh & kids) are going to tour our way and the others can follow or not...still I'd like to spend time with the extended family....

Actually I don't think it's such a bad thing. Sometimes when I've been I've been so hyper'd up with excitment it's failed to live up to the expections. And other times, when I've not thought about it so much, I've had great trips.

I'm setting off driving there from Texas in 8 days time, and I'm pretty excited this time, so if we average out our excitement levels, we work out just perfect.
