Help me scale down my restaurants! Will cost $700! woo!

Lots of good suggestions above... We try to book the last lunch seating available at the dinner places, as the menu is the same and can be up to 30% less expensive. They we catch a Mickey Bar or something as we stroll around and don't ever miss dinner. We also don't eat breakfast out, it is just so expensive for what you are eating. We do that at the hotel, maybe catch a snack if we need one in the park, have a huge lunch, and then another snack later. Even with our kids they don't complain about one big meal and breakfast in the room. It gives them something to do while DH and I are getting ready!

You have some really good choices there! Just from a quality of food perspective, you can eliminate Rainforest Cafe, and probly the Crab House, as the food at these two is indifferent at best, vile at worst. If you are already at AK, Tusker House is a cheaper and high quality alternative to RFC, even tho it is counter service, as is the Flame Tree BBQ. On the night you are planning on the crab house, you may want to just have a larger lunch and a light dinner anyplace else; the atmosphere is not that great and the food, well, I talked about that above.

I would cut out the double visits to places you have listed more than once.
I would also use the vouchers, Q&C, Vacation Kingdom lunch and breakfast ones. Even the couple of dollars it will save you at each meal will add up.
I would keep your RFC ressie. We eat there every trip and enjoy it. You $40 meal would then become $30 using the VK lunch voucher.
Lunches are usually cheaper than dinner so you might want to have a lite breakfast, us your ps for lunches then lite dinner or snacks.

I would also count out the Rainforest Cafe. It was one of our worst meals last week! And it took over an hour to get this meal.

We did like the Crystal Palace, but we did do lunch there, and the food was excellent!

We also try to eat our main meal at Lunch! It is cheaper, and it fills you up for most of the afternoon!

Sometimes we just go to Beaches and Cream and have ice cream for Lunch or dinner!:sunny:
