Help me refine the dream!

O.K...I have been to the World with my husband. I have been to the World with my kids. But I have never been to the World with my husband and my kids - although this situation could change this fall!

We're pricing "the dream" - 7 days at the Contemporary (or other deluxe) standard room with unexpireable park hoppers and the meal plan. The total comes to roughly $3,300 (we're not doing the airfare b/c we live in a gateway city with lots of competition and can get down there far cheaper than the quotes).

So what now? How do we work the cost down without giving up too much of the dream? We don't want to go offsite too much (although a side trip to Cape Canaveral might be in the offing).

Shed your wisdom on me! TIA!

I'm not sure that's a bad price. How many kids?

You could get the tix that expire, or stay at a moderate resort if those are options for you.

I'm not sure how exactly the tickets work out per day now, but perhaps an annual pass, as that has additional discounts.

There are plenty of others on these boards wiser than I am about these things. Since noone had replied yet I thought I'd toss in my 2cents.
