HOLY COW!!!.. by dgf are talking about going to disney in june!.... that is one month away.... we need to get away. We would be going with her sister and her boyfriend.... we found a package on disney.com for $616, Room at POP and 2 day parkhoper pass for June 14th-17th... We also found airfair through Priceline for 142 per person (from Boston or Providence to Orlando)... Here is my question.... (first you guys are amazing) I KNOWWWW someone can find a cheaper price than that.... (probably only the real pros)... If you are bored sitting at work right now and want to help out a POOOOOORR College student... Search around your secret sites and see if you can find something cheaper than that.... and reply with price and a link so i can take advantage... and I REALLY appreciate it...


PS. Nothing is set in stone. so pretty much anything can change, resort, dates, length of stay (as lon as there is at least 2 full days in the parks)...

We are DVC members and we have/do rent our points to stay at a home away from home resort. You can stay at Old Key West for example for 8 point sif sun thru thrus nights.........most people rent for 9 - 11 dollars a point.......so that would be your nightly stay.............go to the rent trade board and you can read more!!

I see that your original quote did not include the hotel cost. 3 nights @ POP $99/night + $20/night (2 extra adults) + 11.5% tax = $398.06
(subtract 15% off the room rate if you have AAA, for a total of $348.38), either booked directly with Disney or thru a travel agent. I now of no other discounts unless you happen to have an AP holder in your group. It would not be worth the cost for you to purchase an AP to get a room discount for only 3 nights.

Or if you're interested in renting DVC points, the going rate is $10/pt. To stay at OKW for the nights that you plan, the cost would be 33 points or $330. You might find a DVC member who has banked points that they will lose if they're not used soon. They may be willing to rent them to you for $9/point. Check the DVC Rent/Trade Board for details.

4 2-day Hoppers w/PI or DQ plus from DiscountOrlandoVacation.com @$146 = $584 This price beats Disney's cost for a 2-day MYW Hopper with no pluses.

I used SideStep.com to search for airfare from BOS to MCO. The best prices came from AIrTran with a rate of $135.40/person. Total cost (including taxes and fees) = $541.60 These are direct flights but they depart in the early morning hours both days.

Use free Magical Express transportation from the airport to your resort and Disney's onsite transportation to get around the "World".

Total cost (if staying at POP) = $1524 total or $381/person. Note that this does not include food or spending money.
