Hi all,
I haven't been to DL in about 4 years. Needless to say we've never been to GC. I'll be in So. Calf for my cousin's wedding. I promised DS (age 7 1/2 and a big WDW veteran and has been to DL twice, but probably doesn't remember much) we could spend 1 nite at DL. I have a room for 1 nite and passes for 2 days (1 day DL, 1 day GC) for $188 total. We checkin on Wed, Nov. 14th. I think we'll do parks in the am, hang in the pm (or do parade) and maybe head out at nite.

What do you all suggest? Anything a must!? Anything ok to miss?

Thanks
Cora

First of all DCA opens at least and hour after DL, so if you have hoppers then you can go to DL first then pop over to DCA when it opens.

Must do for DCA, Soarin (if it's crowded get FP early), Grizzly bear rapids (or whatever it's called), screamin if you like roller coasters. Mullhullan drive (mouse coaster),

My understanding is that It's tough to be a bug is same as WDW, so you can miss it if you've been there (haven't seen it at WDW so don't know for sure). I wasn't too thrilled with superstar limo. Lines probably won't be too bad when you're there. The new Luminaria show should be playing also (not sure if it's only on weekends though). Electrical parade will only be on weekends.

DL, The mountain range is good (space, matterhorn, thunder, splah), also if you like nightmare before chirstmas there's the Haunted mansion make over. It's a small world Holiday will also probably be up. Believe in magic Holiday with the snow should also be playing then. Make sure you ask a CM where the snow will be.

My biggest piece of advice, get fast pass for Autopia if you want to do autopia. The wait is awful. Even if the line isn't that long, you have to wait forever because they stop the line and only let a few people through every few minutes. I've been able to get a fast pass for within 15 minutes with a 45 minute regular line wait. I will not stand in line for this one, if I can't get FP, then I won't ride it.

dletz,
Thank you for the great info. I'll be printing this out!
