Help Me Plan My Two Days at BRV

So we are pretty certain we are going to move from our AKV value studio to BRV for the last night of our trip. (We are thinking of buying a BRV resale to use at Christmas, so we want to make sure we like it there during that time.) We are planning on doing the Christmas party that night, so we want to enter MK at 4 pm. We also would like to eat at The Wave for breakfast, WCC for lunch or dinner, and Homecomin' sometime during those last two days. We want maximum time in the WL lobby though to enjoy the Christmas decorations though. We will be using DME on our checkout day for a 9:15 pm flight. I thought about booking The Wave for breakfast around 9:00 after checking out of AKV and then WCC lunch for around 2:00 before the party, but if there is a chance we can get in our room early, I'm afraid we would be stuck eating lunch while our room is sitting there empty and then we would have to head to the party without much time in the room. If we do this, we would save Homecomin' for lunch after checking out of BRV and then head back to BRV for more time enjoying the lobby before our DME pickup. Does anyone else have a better plan?

Don't over plan, what you don't do this trip, you can do the next. You need time to walk the grounds, check out the lodge, the DVC building, the pools, cabins, maybe do a CCV DVC tour.

There may be a community group that entertains in the lobby during the evening. You don’t know until you check in. I agree, do not over plan. Just sitting in the lobby is nice, walking around the grounds is special. Going over to see how the campers decorate the spaces is worthwhile. We often spend a few hours bike riding around FW. They are mostly lit and active even in daylight.

That's what I'm trying not to do. The rest of our trip is planned pretty extensively, so I want these last two days to be more relaxing. We stayed at CCV last October, so we know we love the grounds (no interest in doing the DVC tour there though because no interest in owning there). I loved walking to FW on the last trip. I hope the weather in December is nice enough to do that. I mainly want to check out the BRV room and to see how I feel about the Christmas atmosphere there (visited during this season but haven't stayed there then). The only thing I know we need to do while staying there is go to the Christmas party. We are waiting to do MK that night since we will be near our resort. I'm just worried that we might get bored on our checkout day staying in one place. I'm wondering if it might be good to book Homecomin' for that day, just to pop over to DS just for lunch and then back to BRV.
