Help me plan my trip please

My husband has a conference at the DLH so we are staying Sat 9/23-Sat 9/30. MHP is on the M, W, F of our trip. My DH will be at his conference T, TH during the day and W day into night for a dinner thing. That leaves M or F for the MHP which I wanted to do one of the nights. At first I thought I should try for M because I was thinking it would be the least crowded but now I understand MHP always sells out so does it matter which day I choose? Is it going to be the same difference to go M or F as far as crowds go?

I'm trying to figure out which days to make reservations for character dining and BBB so I'm trying to figure out what we are doing on which days. On either Sun or Mon I wanted to plan to head to Universal and the Natural History Museum, which I'm assuming would be best on a M? Which would be another reason to do MHP on F if there's really no difference.

My other dilemma is that in the fall I think they only do fireworks and the nighttime shows like WoC Fri-Sun, is that right? If we did MHP on our last F would we be able to see fireworks at both parks and the WoC and fantasmic during our first F-Sun? I'm not sure if the shows are at the same time as the fireworks so we'd have to choose one or the other? Our youngest will need to do the earlier options because she won't be able to stay up as late.

WOC runs every night, except for refurbs, so you'll be able to catch that any day. Fantasmic! and the fireworks are weekend only; however, MHP can throw a wrench into those works, too.

I would expect a Monday MHP to be more for vacationers. While a Friday night will bring in locals not having to work on Saturday.

We always try to catch the fireworks and F! the first time they show during our visit. You never know when they might be canceled or not scheduled.

It would make it so much easier to plan if DLR posted the parks entertainment schedule father out than they do.

Check that the museum is open on Mondays. It sounds weird, but I've found it's a common day for museums and zoos to be closed.
