We will be arriving on the 16th and will have the dining plan for 4 days.
I know for sure we want to try 50's prime time , and Le Celler Steak house, chef mickeys but I need 1 more we would enjoy.
Anyone have 1 more great suggestions??

Even though this is our first time i am trying liberty tree tavern and crystal palace and whispering canyon and i have sci fi and le cellier on my plans too. Did you check allearsnet.com to check out menus? Although i took alot of advice from the boards i checked the menus to see if it is anything we would eat.
HAVE FUN PLANNING!!!!! :cheer2:

If in EPCOT, how about The Garden Grille in FW. Family style, all you care to eat, with a seperate selection for the kiddos. Characters in cute country outfits :thumbsup2

Do you have boys or girls? If you have girls I would suggest either 1900 Park Fare - Cinderella's Gala Feast or Princess Storybook B,L or D.

Boys - CHef Mickeys, Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace.

Have fun!

Crystal Palace, Ohana, and Boma, all one credit meals. For two credits, I love Brown Derby, but you already have two restaurants at MGM, so I'd suggest getting some MK area restraunts on your list. Le Cellier is one of my favorites too. :teeth:

Just back from disney. You should do Wispering Canyon Cafe at WL. It was a lot of fun. It is loud and not relaxing, but my daughter had so much fun here, she is almost 6 years old. The WL is a nice resort to see also.

The 1900 Park Fare we did at the GF, I probably wouldn't do this one again. The food was ok, and the characters do come around to the tables, but it wasn't my favorite.

We also had the dining plan and we were really happy with it, for what it costs to eat at the resturaunts you really save alot of money.

We ate in Italy at Epcot and that was good.

Our most favorite resturaunt was Boma at AKL, which is where we stayed. You should go for breakfast here, the buffet was out of this world. They have an African breakfast area and then they have regular breakfast fod. The selection is unbelievable, so much food. I don't know where you are staying, but if you have never been to AKL it is worth the ride!!!!!!

We have 5 in our family. My choices were Kona, Chef Mickey's, concourse Steakhouse, Spoodles, Le Cellier, 50s Prime Time, and Cape May buffet dinner. We only have one character meal but we've been to many before. Our kids will be 8, 11 and 14 when we go. I posted this last week, but make sure you book Le Cellier as soon as you can because they are mostly tables for 4 and they were already about full for our July trip when it comes to tables for 5.
If I were you I would rethink Sci-Fi. It's good for a dessert stop or a milkshake, but the food isn't that great IMO.
Which hotel are you staying in? Your 3 choices so far are all near the Epcot/MGM area. If you are looking for a couple of MK choices I think Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace are both good ideas.

We are staying the first 4 nights at Old Key West resort, then our last two at All star movies.. Its so hard deciding, thanks for all the info.

Boma is great, and the hotel and the animals outside it are very visually interesting. My boys enjoyed going there at 2 1/2 and 9.

We are doing Sci Fi also. We've done it before, and the burgers were fine, and our son really liked the atmosphere.

Le Cellier is an absolute must-do for us, as is Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. Many do not like Chef Mickey's, and in Epcot, the Garden Grill is another great Mickey meal choice. The restaurant revolves around the scenes of the Living with the Land boat ride, and Mickey and friends are dressed in farmer garb. Crystal Palace always has great food and Pooh and Friends, and is a great MK restaurant.

If I were to pick 5:
Chef Mickey or Garden Grill
Le Cellier
Crystal Palace
Sci Fi
Boma

Hope that helps!

Currently, you have 1 meal planned at MGM (Prime Time), 1 meal planned at EPCOT (Le Cellier), and 1 meal planned at a resort (Chef Mickey's) which is also in the MK area.

So, if I were you, I would plan either a meal at MK - either LTT or CP - because you don't have a meal at MK currently, or, if you plan to tour AK, maybe schedule Boma at the AKL.

If you schedule LTT or CP, you've then got a meal at 3 parks & 1 meal at a resort. If you schedule Boma, you've got a meal for each "area" of WDW: Chef Mickey's for the MK area, Le Cellier for the EPCOT area, Prime Time for the MGM area, and Boma for the AK area. (But, if I wasn't planning to tour AK, then I wouldn't schedule Boma.)

If I were planning 5 TS meals, I'd probably try to schedule the following:

Chef Mickey's for breakfast
LTT (dinner) or CP (breakfast or lunch) at MK
Le Cellier (dinner) at EPCOT
Prime Time Cafe or Sci-Fi at MGM
Boma (dinner) at AKL

Other good, "family-fun" suggestions for the the MK area are 'Ohana (at the Poly) & WCC (at the WL), but, since you've already got one meal scheduled at a MK resort (Chef Mickey's), I'd probably go w/ LTT or CP.

The food at LTT is served family-style - turkey, ham, roast beef, green beans, mac & cheese, dressing, declaration salad (tossed salad w/ strawberry vinegarette dressing), rolls w/ honey butter, & apple cobbler & ice cream. The characters are Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Chip, & Dale.

Since, you already have a meal (Chef Mickey's) w/ these characters, you could schedule a meal at Crystal Palace in the MK. The buffet has so many yummy selections! The characters are Pooh & Friends.

We like dinner at LTT & breakfast or lunch at CP.

Boma is a wonderful buffet at the AKL which is a gorgeous resort. The buffet has lots of "exotic" selections, but it also has plenty of selections for pickier eaters as well. It's a fun place to eat! Try the Zebra Domes!! :goodvibes And walking around the resort is a great experience too. The CM's at Boma are so nice!

Hope this helps! Let us know what you decide!
