I'm having a hard time deciding where to eat on a couple of our days. I like to hear other people's suggestions to see what others would do in our situation and what places you like! We are going the week before Christmas.

Here's what we have so far:
Saturday: Check into AKV. Dinner at Boma

Sunday: MK day. Planning to rope drop and eat a QS lunch and then head out of the park. NEED SUGGESTION ON DINNER HERE. Can be anywhere really. Ideas: O'hana? Disney Springs? Hoop Dee Doo?

Monday: AK with Yak & Yeti lunch

Tuesday: planning to spend morning resort hopping to see Christmas decorations. Going to MVMCP in the evening. I'm going to try for a BOG dinner (we've eaten there for lunch but never dinner).

Wednesday: Epcot. Planning to do CP dining plan with either Biergarten or Teppan Edo (we love both!)

Thursday: HS with dinner at Sci Fi (never been and I think our kids will love it!)

Friday: This day is undecided. Probably either back to MK or Epcot. ANOTHER SUGGESTION FOR DINING NEEDED!

We have less than a week until our 180 day window!

Hoop Dee Doo Revue is very special and I highly recommend it. It's a lot of food, so you might want to do a very early, light lunch that day.

on the night at MK I would do Crystal Palace, is your only night where you can see the new fireworks, you will be back at MK for the party and they have their own fireworks show. BOG dinner is another option but is sonhard to get ADR

Also going that same week! I've never been so undecided on my ADRs. Sounds like we're in a similar predicament!

Yes! We've never been so undecided! I think the Christmas activities (MVMCP & CP) are throwing us off. We usually rope drop the parks, eat most of our sit down meals for lunch, and then leave the park shortly after lunch. Then we do pool in the afternoon and play it by ear for dinner (maybe go back in parks, maybe go to Disney Springs, etc). I think I'm thrown off by not knowing if pool will even be a possibility and seeing Christmas stuff. It really shouldn't be that much different in regards to choosing restaurants but for some reason it is!

Hey there! All your kids are off by one year on mine (mine = 10/8/5) and your daughter is sandwiched between two boys whereas I have the exact opposite...my boy is sandwiched... so uncanny! :teeth: Well..just going by my own habits and not knowing if money or TS credits are an object...I would definitely choose an off-MK resort for Sunday's dinner vs Disney Springs. I just adore GF during Christmas so I'm inclined to suggest 1900 Park Fare or a signature (Narcoossee). Friday seems like a more reasonable day to visit Disney Springs for a meal, although it will be crowded. Have you tried many there? I haven't myself, but I really like the ones I have..Ragland Road always sticks out to me as a unique yet yummy experience.

We have not tried many at Disney Springs. Ragland Road is actually one of our favorite Disney restaurants so we have eaten there almost every trip and we never branch out! DH and I have eaten at Portobello, House of Blues, and Wolfgang Puck without the kids. We've also all eaten at Splitsville. Oh - and T-Rex too (didn't like this one at all). OK...I guess we've eaten at more than I thought! But there are still quite a few we haven't done yet.

We are not on a dining plan. I've calculated it after every trip and we never would have saved money with the dining plan. I'm hesitant to do signature dining with my kids. They are mostly well behaved in restaurants but my daughter has Down syndrome and can occasionally be disruptive based on her mood.

Thanks for the suggestions!
