Help me pick my resort…

Im starting to lean towards Wilderness Lodge & funny enough, its bc of my picky eater of a son. I decided to actually take a look at the menus of the restaurants of each resort & WL seems to win based purely of off what I think my kid would actually eat.

I am not a fan of the Contemporary at all. I’ve never stayed there, but I have stayed at Bay Lake Tower and I just feel the whole resort is cold and sterile. The Wilderness Lodge would get my vote. The Lodge is cozy, warm, and inviting. The pool is very nice and they have plentiful food options. The boat ride to the MK is also lovely. We haven’t stayed here for awhile, but if we ever travel around the holidays, this will be where we stay.

I just wanted to put a plug in for the Epcot resorts. I know you said you are from New Jersey so the theming of the Beach Club doesn’t wow you, but the ability to walk to two parks is amazing, plus there are a lot of dining choices in that area between the five resorts. Just something to think about.

WL theming isn’t my thing but I’m a huge Christmas freak and it’s on my bucket list to stay their during Christmas one day. So that’s my pick!

I also live in NJ (about an hour from Ocean City) and BC is my favorite resort. BW resort is great too. It does have the Atlantic City boardwalk vibe but it’s really nothing like Jersey shore boardwalks. You really can’t beat walking to two parks and the vibe at the Epcot area resorts is my favorite.

I keep hearing about that Epcot vibe and and the ability to have that easy walk to Epcot from Beach Club or Boardwalk. Its definitely still on my mind. I think what makes it hard for me is paying ALOT of money for a room when youre not really wowed by how its decorated. Im trying to weigh how important convenience is over how much I like the look of the resort!
