the three hotels are caribbean beach, coronado springs, and port orleans.

Caribbean Beach:

-By Epcot
-Pizza Delivery
-no wi-fi :( :(
-fridge
-no purchases delivered to hotel
-5 restaurants: 4 quick-service $14.99 and under, and 1 casual dining $15-$36.
-Standard view-$170-2 full beds

Coronado Springs:
-moderate
-by animal kingdom
-business hotel :( :(
-no wi-fi...again
-pizza delivery
-fridge
-no purchases delivered to hotel
-4 restaurants: 1 special $36-$60, 2 quick service $15-$36, and 1 outdoor lounge $15 and under
-Standard View-$175-2 queen beds

this is the one i'm most leaning towards!

Port Orleans

-2 restaurants $14.99 and under
-Standard view-$170-2 full beds

So...HELP ME DECIDE!

I, personally, love POFQ. Are you considering POFQ or POR? Never been to Coronado Springs but have looked into staying at Caribbean Beach. It really all depends on what theme you want.

Which Port Orleans?
If it's POFQ, than I vote for that one :D

I absolutely loved it there!

My place is POFQ. It's beautiful, awesome pool, the food court is pretty good and everything (especially the food court) is within a short, manageable walking distance from even the farthest rooms. Overall though it's such an amazing environment; family friendly without going overboard on the childness other resorts have.

If you do go with Port Orleans and you're deciding between French Quarter and Riverside, here's my tip. FQ is first for the bus routes, then they pick up at Riverside. So if you don't want to have to get on an already full bus every morning, I'd go with FQ.

I vote Port Orleans.

I've never stayed in the French Quarter but did stay at Riverside. It was really beautiful.

I vote port Orleans French Quarter!

What can I say? Ive been bitten by the 'Nawlins bug :D

okay, so the resorts don't have wifi, but they do have a hardline of internet in the rooms.

and i'm pretty sure you can get delivery to those resorts.

and unless youre walking everywhere, why does the resorts location really matter? you can ride a bus.

from what you wrote, it really makes them all look the same, when they're not. :confused3

The location matters because of the distances. I'll give you a huge example. How much faster will you get to MK- from AKL or the contemporary?

Location is kinda important depending on what you want. Part of the reason we stayed at POFQ was to take the boat to DTD. It's really awesome.
If you want a quicker ride to, EPCOT, let's say, you'd wanna stay at a resort in the EPCOT area.
However, if you don't really mind how long it takes then it probably doesn't matter. :goodvibes

well any resort without a dedicated bus line is going to take longer, but riding pop/akl to anywhere really doesn't take THAT long. if an extra 10-25 minutes really ruins your plans, get up earlier. :confused3

Whats so confusing?
It's very simple IMHO
when she has such open choices, location can be seen as a big factor. Some people like 1 park more than others, hence they visit it more often. Also, sometimes people do the parks commando style and time is golden. Sleep/rest also fall under one of those golden things.

Our family's first choice is always Port Orleans Riverside.
It has really convenient transportation to DTD, and to the parks.
It is really well themed, and it just feels right :)

I agree.

I actually like longer bus rides. I like looking out at the different places/nature on the way to the parks/resort.

So, is the OP going to tour the parks commando style? That would make location important :)

We like Port Orleans, but make sure you find out which bus stop gets picked up first, and request a room close to that depot. We were not happy this past February with the bus situation on our trip. We ended up taking a taxi to many of the parks because it was faster. The food a POR is very good. There was a lot to choose from. It is also a very large resort, so be prepared to walk a good distance to get around.

It is just me (17) and my mom going, so I think i've ruled out caribbean beach at por. Keep up all the good reviews! They are helping me out a TON!

POFQ is also good because it's the smallest resort. Everything is in really short walking distance and the theming is fantastic.
