Because i am bored and can only plan. lol. I was looking for table service restaurants. We are doing 2 days at MK, 1 epcot, 1 AK, and 1 HS. We will be staying 7 nights. was looking to do one Disney Springs and one resort. My son wants Ohana again. I don't want to use 2 table service credits anywhere. We live in Louisiana so when they say they have Jambalaya or any other cajun food we skip it on principal. Last trip we went Ohana, Crystal Palace, 50's prime time, Coral Reef, Rainforest Cafe, Tony's Town Square, and Chef Mickey's (breakfast). All others were dinner.

Options for where you have not eaten. All better than Rainforest or Tony’s. Epcot has best options.

Epcot - Teppan Edo is always fun and good. Via Napoli great pizza.
AK - Tusker House
HS - Mama Melrose has good food. Sci Fi decent food fun atmosphere.
MK - Skippers Canteen different menu good atmosphere
MK - Plaza all you can drink homemade shakes 🙂
DS - Homecoming has great fried chicken and lots of food. Boathouse good food and atmosphere, Raglan Road
Wildernesses Lodge - Artist Point
BC Cape May buffet

Always promoting Garden Grill. I haven't been there for breakfast, but have been several times for early evening meals. My son calls it the "spinning restaurant" and always asks if its in the plans when we go.

Thanks guys. We are going with my brother and sister in law and will have 5 kids between the two couples. Ages will be 10, 8, 7, 4 and 3. The 4 oldest are boys and the youngest a girl. Probably going to do the Disney dining plan. I was thinking be our guest for lunch one day. And of course i keep stalking space 220 and Rodeo Roundup. My youngest loves Toy Story.

Not wanting to do any 2 credit meals takes out a lot of really good options.
AK - Tusker House? I would sugest Tiffins, but its 2 credits. Yak and Yeti is another good choice.
MK - Skipper Canteen
HS - Sci-Fi
EPCOT - so many good choices. Restaurant Marrakesh or Chef de France.
Resort - again most of our favorites are 2 credit. The Wave at Contemporary. Boma at AKL
DS - Raglan Road. Would expect the kids to enjoy the bamd and dancers.

I'm sure you probably know this, but if your son is really wanting Ohana, maybe take him/send him to Tambu Lounge. He won't get the full experience, but he could get the noodles, wings, pot stickers, and/or bread pudding.

Might be enough to give the kiddo something he is asking for, without doing the full experience, and maybe save that meal for something else.

MK1 take the monorail to Ohana or The Wave
MK2 Crystal Palace Breakfast
Epcot Via Napoli or Chefs de France
AK- Satuli Canteen or Tusker House
HS- Sci Fi Dine in or Take a boat to Beaches and Cream at BC

Disney Springs- Homecomin or The Polite Pig
Resort- I know I've already used some resorts: Trails End

MK - Skipper Canteen get's rave reviews and we're going to try that next time but if you're willing to go outside the park ( but close ) then I'd go with Grand Floridian Cafe ( delicious steaks ) or the Wave ( some old classics but also some good dishes that are just outside the box.

EP - we love Teppanyaki Edo. Yes, it's like your local Benihana but that's one of the things we like about it. We've also really enjoyed Garden Grill in Future World for breakfast. It's been about 10 years since I've done dinner there but breakfast is a nice solid choice.

HS - we did 50's Prime Time and we enjoyed our meal also. This is another one that if you're willing to leave the park you could boat over the Boardwalk and do Big River Grille or ESPN ( although I'm not sure if ESPN take the dining plan - I'm sure someone here will know for sure though and will chime in ).

AK - We love Yak and Yeti. Some standard asian fare but you can also get steak and salmon ( at least in 2018 on our last trip those were both offered. If you wanted to do a quick trip over to AKL, I'd also recommend Boma. Soooo good and lots of options.

MK- Skipper Canteen, The Plaza or if you want to take a little trip Ohana (always my first choice when I have a MK day)
AK- Yak & Yeti is always my #1 and then Tusker House
HS- SiFi for the atmosphere
EP- Garden Grill, Via Napoli, Biergarten, La Hacienda

Happy planning!!
:flower1:

MK - Tony's. It gets slammed here a lot but usually people who ate there before the new chef took over. Their shrimp scampi is yummo, and it's a crowd pleaser for our family (what kids don't like pizza and spaghetti meatballs?).
AK - Tusker House
EP - Via Napoli (not a great dining plan value but delicious) or Teppan Edo (great value; fun experience)
HS: Hollywood & Vine (lunch or dinner for Mickey and crew--not breakfast which has different characters and food).

when did the new chef take over at tony's?

when did the new chef take over at tony's?
I wish I knew, but all I know is that the new chef was there by the time we went in November 2019, and the last time we went to Tony's before that was in April 2018 and it still had the old menu then so it'd have to be sometime between then.

we ate there March of 19. Was just wondering if it was a lot different now. I got the chicken parm because my youngest (not on a dining pan at the time) loves chicken and spaghetti. I wasn't impressed but he ate it up. My husband and oldest loved their pizzas.

AK - No brainer Tusker House
MK - Liberty Tree and Skipper have really good food.
EP - Garden Grill, but food is similar to Liberty Tree so one or the other. Chefs de France is always a winner. Hacienda de San Angel is good. Spice Road Table is good.
HS - Mama Melrose surprised us in Sept. and has better food than either 50's or Sci Fi. We are from Texas, so we feel you on being from LA. We skip home cooking and cajun, that is done at local restaurants, our house and mama's! Ha You also can take the Skyliner over to Caribbean Beach Resort and eat at Sebastian's for dinner it's a quick ride over from HS.
DS - We'll defer as we only have eaten at 2 credits places in DS.
Resorts - Boma, The Wave, Sebastian's, Storybook are all good.
