Since it is June after all, I have been working on putting together our meals for our Christmas trip. I still don't now what I'm having for dinner tonight, but..... ;) This trip also includes my birthday, the last night of our trip.

I have gone over so many restaurants and changed my mind a zillion times, I just dont know what to go with. I'm leaning toward being in the MK resort area that night, but can be flexible still. I would like to try Trails End Buffet, but looking at pictures of it, it looks sort of rustic and just not "nice enough" for a special meal. I have also considered Kona Cafe, Concourse Steakhouse, and Ohana. Im reluctant to go back there since they took away the rice which I loved.

We are all pretty much plain, not very adventurous eaters. Other dinners we have planned so far for this trip include Mama Melrose, Alfredos, Shulas (w/out kids), and ESPN (possibly Beaches & Cream). 3 years ago when we did this we dined at Kona Cafe for my birthday.

Also, we will be staying at the BW so that area which includes a lot of restaurants would probably work well too. I would love to go to YSH (my favorite), but since we are going to Shulas the previous night, that may be a bit redundant.

So, with that background where would you turn 35? :confused3

If budget isn't an issue I would go to CG-and it's monorail close to MK. We had my mom's birthday there last Sept. The meal was great. The fireworks view from the observation deck was wonderful! That being said, nothing special was done for her birthday-I had let them know several times but I guess my mistake was not asking for something special-my mistake-next time I'll make a request.

For a less pricey meal, also close to MK, we love :lovestruc Kona. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is a less, lets say rowdy, from someplace like 'Ohana (where we don't like the food).

These are my thoughts, hope the help, and :bday: 6 months early!

How about spending your birthday at 50's Primetime in MGM. It would be a fun place for you to celebrate your birthday with your family. :)

Thanks for the ideas. :)

DH and I are going to CG this summer, and I'm not sure it's a good place for my kids. Unfortunatley, from what I hear about Prime Time, it's not my thing. I would get annoyed with a server telling me what to do. ;) That and WCC are places I won't go to.
