This is my first post and I am so excited to be here!

We are currently planning our June WDW vacation for me, DH, DD(6), DD(4), DS (1), MIL, FIL, and 2 nephews (ages 10 and 12). I had originally thought we would do Chef Mickey for Bfast on our water park day and CP for lunch on our last MK day. However, now that we are a GG I was thinking of replacing one of these with the Good Morning Character Breakfast. We have been to CP before, but have never gone to Chef Mickey.

Would you stick to the original plan or make a change? If change, which to replace?

Thanks!

Chef Mickey is good for a character breakfeast!!:rotfl2: there is lots to eat and there are always 2 characters roaming around. The down side is it is 2 DDC for breakfast.

We did it in 2007 and one of the main benefits is that you have access to the monorail so you can either get to MK or Epcot after very easily!!!

Not sure about swimming after This either, but we kinda made it the meal of the day( we were 6 adults) :confused3

have a good time what ever you do

J:woohoo:

Welcome to the boards!

Ive never done the GG breakfast, but Chef Mickeys is a lot of fun! It's only one dining plan credit... not sure where the other poster heard that it was two. The only character breakfast that is 2 is Cinderellas Royal Table. I think Chef Mickeys is a great choice! Also, over at the Grand Floridian (which is a short monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom) is 1900 Park Fare. They have a character breakfast with Mary Poppins, Alice, the Mad Hatter, Tigger, Pooh.... your daughters would probably love it!

Oh! I almost forgot.... The Lilo and Stitch best friends breakfast at Ohana, also on the monorail.....

They serve a 'family style' breakfast of scrambled eggs, mickey waffles, bacon, sausage, fruit, etc and, IMO, the best Orange Juice on property. What I would do is pick which characters your daughters would like to see the most.... Mickey and Friends at Chef Mickeys, Alice in Wonderland, Tigger, Pooh and Mary Poppins at 1900 Park Fare, or Lilo and Stitch at Ohana.... they all have great breakfasts! There are reviews of all of these on the restaurant section of the dis!

With that many children and the need to help them with plates etc... I would suggest O'hanas as well as it is served family style right at your table. I just know that after several trips up to the crowded buffet with a few children, you tend to eat cold food.

Thanks everyone! I booked this morning sticking to the original plan (although I may still change the CP if I come up with a better idea).
