Help me pick an MK meeting spot!

Okay, so I've been reading the posts about not being able to get onto Main St. USA before scheduled opening anymore and I think it's going to wreck my surprise plans!!! Help!!!

My husband and I are sending his sister's fiance down to WDW to surprise her while she's there for a day excursion from a cruise next Tuesday. I was thinking I would have her fiance get there early and wait on the porch of town hall. Now it sounds like he, and she, will just be in a MOB of people waiting outside!

Can you think of any alternate meeting spots where he could wait and be able to see her coming off the monorail??

There are some benches near where you must enter to go to have your bags checked. They face the water and you must walk past them to get to the entrance. He could sit on one of these and he will be able to see her as she approaches.
Or you could not get to the park until a little after opening so he has a chance to enter before her?

What about having him meet her at her hotel or at the TTC. This way they will be in much less crowded areas.
