Help me pick a week Nov/Dec 2021

We are currently schedule for Nov 28- Dec 6.

I have to put in my vacation request this week at work and want to have a backup week in case I don’t get my 1st pick.

Picking between
Dec 7-14
Nov 14-21

I really want to get the full Xmas experience by going in Dec but also like the weather a bit better in Nov.
We have never been in Dec. We usually travel for RunDisney weekends in Nov so once those come back we will be back to normal early Nov trips.

Just a little worried about possible cold weather in Dec. We love Disney pools.

For the full Christmas experience I would December 7-14 should you not get you 1st choice vacation choice. While we do not know what Disney has planned for the Christmas season yet, we do know in the past the Candlelight Processional did not start until Thanksgiving weekend. Also many of the resorts are not fully decorated until closer to Thanksgiving.

If weather is your concern, going in Nov may give you the best opportunity to swim but the pools are heated so YMMV. The last few times we went in Dec, we had to pack for all 4 seasons. If you are keen on doing Festival of the Holidays in EP, Dec 7-14th may be what you are aiming for. If not, the Nov dates may be best, IMO.

I'd definitely go November 14-21. You'll get all the Christmas decorations. We're staying October 22 - November 5 this year. Weather is usually warm and dry though we've had cold and hot LOL! It's lighter a bit later too - coming from NH we always notice that. Disney turns from Halloween to Christmas and we enjoy this time every year (except 2020).

We have loved the first or second week of December.
Just read that PoP Warner football, cheerleading competitions, etc will not be back at WDW this fall, so that may help as well.

I would do December to get the hopefully full holiday experience.

It was cold last Dec when we were there so unfortunately no swimming for us. Several nights were in the 40s and days in the 50s. It did warm up by the end of the week but still was chilly in the evenings.
