Help me pick a meal...

We're taking our DS3 and DD4 in March and need to pick two more meals. So far we're doing:
-Mickey's Backyard BBQ (never done this one)
-Chef Mickeys
-Ohana breakfast
-Ohana dinner
-Whispering Canyon (never dine this before and we're staying at WL so we figured it would be easy)
-Trex

We staying 8 nights so we need 2 more meals. Any recommendations??

Some other fun character meals are...

pre-park (if your little ones and yourself can be early risers) breafasts are great fun and way to start your day and walk into the nearly empty park.

MK: Crystal Palace w/ WTP and gang or

AK: Tusker House w/ Donald and Fab 5 (haven't done this personally)

something for your little princess...dinner w/ Cinderella, Prince Charm and step sisters and mother at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian (buffet)

or same restaurant do bfast w/ Alice, Mary Poppins and AiW friends (have not done this yet either but plan to next yr)

other non-character meals for TS that may be good are Tony's (not full name) on Main Street in MK

Princess Storybook dining at the Akershus in Epcot is a great value as it includes a photo package in the dining prices. You meet 5 princesses too!

we did breakfast at Tusker House at AK and it was GREAT! the food was delicious, we had a great server and the character interaction was wonderful. we've also done crystal palace for lunch-the citrus marinated flank steak is to DIE for and you can't beat pooh characters. DH loves biergarten at epcot because they serve pork schnitzel. i love it because they have live music, the buffet is always well-stocked and you get to sit with other people and chat (oktoberfest-style). it's only a downer if you get seated with unfriendly people.
you'll love whispering canyon and the ohana breakfast-make sure you stay long enough for the maraca (sp?) parade around the restaurant.

AK= Tusker House breakfast
MK= Crystal Palace (breakfast or dinner)

Is this because you are on the dining plan? At that age, my kids didn't want to do a sit down meal every day. We still don't do one a day - so when we went a year ago (tried the dining plan for the first time, free) the first night we were really tired and got room service. It was a great treat, and the tip was even covered. The bill IIRC was well over $150 for myself and my kids! DH came two days later, so we had a couple of credits extra to use up.

Sometimes room service is nice when you're tired (but we've been so many times, that we don't mind resting in the room).

I agree about Tusker House! They have the same head chef from Boma, and the food is similar. But the nice thing is that it's at the theme park. We enjoyed DAK theme park for the day and did an early dinner there about 4:00. The food was excellent, and they have so many choices, for picky eaters and adventurous ones. My DS loves salmon and fish, DD is picky but they had nice choices. It was nice as DAK was winding down for the day (usually closes earlier than other parks).

We also have always had a great meal and time at the Sci Fi Dine In Theater place at DHS. It's fun to sit in the cars, and really the food is surprisingly great!

My kids have also enjoyed the teppanyaki restaurant in Japan at Epcot, I think it's still Mitsukoshi. They love watching the cooking. Very fun for kids, and pretty good food.

The Seas in Epcot is also a great place, with all the fish.

I didn't know T Rex was on the dining plan. But I've heard it's cool!

We're not huge breakfast eaters, as we'd rather have something light on the go, then sit down for lunch.

Our kids (4 and 2 last year) loved the Sci Fi diner at DHS, Crystal Palace with Pooh characters at MK, and Asherhouse Princess meal at Epcot. This meal included a great photo with a princess! Even my son loved it and got lots of princess kisses and attention! A great time and value too

If you're looking for character meals, my recommendations are Crystal Palace in MK and Akershus Storybook Princess in Epcot.

We love CP for lunch. It's SO nice to get to the park at RD, get almost everything done, and then have a nice sit-down lunch with a/c and the characters. Then we do a couple more slower attractions, and head back to the resort.
