I just booked a totally surprise trip with the free dining, surprise because I didn't think H would let me go :lmao: It's just me and DD8. We were at WDW last Nov and did Chef Mickey, Ashkerish dinner, CRT breakfast & dinner, LTT lunch, LeCellier, Coral Reef, Boma breakfast & dinner, Kona Cafe, and Ohana. Here's what I have so far for this trip:

1900 Park Fair breakfast & dinner
Crystal Palace breakfast
Le Cellier (repeat but a favorite)
Possibly Ohana

I still need 2 more places, possibly 3 if we don't do Ohana. For one I want the fantasmic package, which of the 3 restaurants is the best (I know this has been asked but I haven't been around since Nov, sorry)? And 2 more suggestions with 1 at Epcot? I'm not worried about best value since dining is free and no more character meals, 3 is enough.

Thank you, Calie

Have you eaten at Tepanyaki in the Japan paviliion? We were there in Feb and we all (three kids too) loved it. Great food and really fun watching the chef. Beaches and Cream is always fun and since the DP is free it's not like it's a waste of a credit. Do you think DD would like Jiko? They have some really good sounding stuff on their kids menu, but it is two credits.

I would do Hollywood and Vine for Fantasmic. Buffets are always safe choices.

At Epcot I really like Alfredo's.

I would definitely do O'Hana. My 9 year old daughter and 11 year old son loved that place. We really enjoyed the food and my kids had a ball playing the games. DH and I had a ball drinking our Lapu Lapu's ;) ! At Epcot I would suggest Coral Reef or San Angel. I know those are not the most highly acclaimed places in Epcot but our kids love them both. And we have enjoyed the food at both. The desserts at Coral Reef are to die for. If you do San Angel, be sure and look for the hidden Mickey in the volacano smoke! My kids also enjoyed Marrakesh in Epcot, they both enjoyed the music and the belly dancer. The food is not spicy at all. Hollywood and Vine is good for the Fantasmic dinner package. It was not my favorite food but I think that was because it was so hot the day/night we ate there I couldn't stomach anything more than iced tea! But I think buffets are always good choices with kids. My kids personally did not like the Brown Derby. I think the theming and ambiance was lost on them maybe. The food was really good though, just not that exciting for my kids. Good luck and have a great trip!
