My DH volunteered to give up his seat last year on United and as a result they gave him $400 in airline vouchers. We have until June 4 to book the flight and travel can occur before or after that date. Anyway...

We are looking for some place new to go to. We have traveled all along the West coast and have been to Chicago, DC, and all the Southern States. We are looking for just a weekend getaway leaving on a Wed or Thurs morning and returning Sunday night. We are thinking maybe somewhere in the midwest? So for those that live there what cities do you recommend visiting and what's there to see and do???

Vegas
Palm Springs
San Antonio
Sedona
Jackson Hole
Aspen
St. Louis
Minneapolis...Mall of America?
Wisconsin Dells?
Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, TN

I could go on and on. Can you tell I love to travel!

Have fun planning!M

A couple years ago my dh and I went to St Louis for a few days. Lots of fun and many free things to do. If interested you should google St Louis or search threads on here. Have fun!!

I dont live in The USA but my vote is for St Louis :thumbsup2 as well so many things to do and see we loved going there lst year and can't wait to go back this year and as a previous poster said there is a lot of free stuff to do. The Arch is amazing our kids can't wait to do it again. We are also staying in the same hotel again the kids insisted they loved it that much.

I like St Louis- if you have kids you can see the zoo for free-smallish science center-see the arch,etc- and the City Museum is probably one of the greatest places we have ever been. EVER. My 10 year old pronounced it better than Disney world. And we LOVE Disney.I have never seen anything like it in my life, and I want to go back!
Peartree hotels are so nice and great priced there too- the driving is so easy!
I want to drive back there just to visit City Museum again.
