Hello all ~

I've been more of a lurker since our trip in Sept. I'm already itchin' to go back. I'm looking at the 1st week in Feb. Would you go ~

Mon Tues Wed

Tues Wed Thurs

Wed Thurs Fri

I assume the only day that will have fireworks will be Fri. and the park will be closing at 8pm each nite except Fri.

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Can I throw in another option?

Sun Mon Tues (that's what I'd pick!)

That way you get fireworks and DEP on Sunday night, without the crowds that normally come on a Friday night.

That makes perfect sense. If it works for you, I would second this. I'd go with the W, Th, F. The fireworks are a great way to end a trip. Also W, Th, F is good if you are staying offsite and only have 1 EE (Thursday). If you are staying onsite and want to have 2 EE days, choose either of the other two (if you're willing to sacrifice fireworks).

We'd stay with my cousin ~ about 20 min. away. So our only EE day would be Thurs? We were there a Mon Tues & Wed at the end of Sept., we stayed offsite and did our EE on Tues.

I'm saying that if you're staying offsite, it would be best to choose dates where there is only one EE day. EE days are M, T, Th, Sa. If you choose M, T, W (or T, W, Th), both have 2 EE days. That means on one of your days, you would be entering to an already somewhat crowded park. Which is not good. Best bet: W, Th, F.

With one EE, I would still choose Sun, Mon, Tues. Use EE on either Mon or Tues (probably Tues is least crowded), and then the day you aren't using EE, open DCA at 9:30 with a ride on Soarin and spend some quiet morning time enjoying an empty DCA, then switch back over to DL later.

This, of course, is all dependent on whether DLR keeps the same EE days in 2008. There have been rumors that they may be changing them.
