Help me personalize our cruise t shirts

I really would like to get personalized t shirts from disney direst while they are on sale. There will be 12 of us traveling together, six being girls ranging from ages 6 to 16. We are 3 families that are all great friends (so not the same last name).

We are cruising on the Wonder in October.

I know you guys can help me out here.

This doesn't answer your question and I don't know why I am butting in but....

I would like to suggest doing a different color shirt for each family group.....same saying and design (unless you use the names--that would vary the saying some). The visual color effect would link the kids to their parents and would make a neat picture. I saw that done in kind of a living family tree situation and it really looked neat with the grandparents in the middle in their own color and the other colors going out from them. This sounds corny but it looked neat.

If you ordering directly from Disney make sure you are careful about the wording. We ordered t-shirts 2 years ago from them (link below) for our friends who had never sailed, but since then they only allow specific wording...you can't put anything about Disney Cruise Line anymore....you could probably use Magical or Wonderful or something like that......

So, just check with Disney before submitting your order as things may have changed again!!!

We are cruising on the Wonder October 16th on a 4 night. This is our third cruise but our friends first. We can't wait.

I think it would be neat if we all had matching or similiar shirts. That way it will be a little easier keeping up with the girls, make wonderful photos, and just have fun for a change instead of always being in the "working mood."

Did you decide what you were putting on the shirts yet? I am thinking about getting some for our family too. I didn't think that my DH would go for matching shirts, but he is all for it. Now, I just need to figure out which design and what to say. I am thinking about the Aloha Disney shirts and probably something about our "Magical" cruise.

I bought T-Shirts from Disney Direct (before the sale of course). We did not have a choice in the color of shirt, they are all white. You do get to pick the picture you want on it and the saying. You have to be careful of your saying. I wanted Land and Sea Vacation, May 2005. Disney called me and said that I would need to put in "at Disney World" because of the "Land and Sea" wording. I did not have a problem with it at all and the T-Shirts look great! But just wanted to let you know that they will contact you if they do not like the wording.

Here’s what we did for our Magic cruise last Halloween. I got the t-shirts on sale too but they did not have a small child’s t-shirt so I had to get a size 10-12 t-shirt for a size 6-7 boy. I just tucked it in to fit. The shirts say “Making Magical Memories” “October 30 – November 6, 2004”. Loved the embarkation photo with our matching t-shirts and will always treasure it.

What I was told last year was that I couldn't use just "Wonder", but had to use "Disney Cruise Lines Wonder" ... between being irked about having to change my wording that I had agonized over, and not being able to come up with a new phrase immediately, I just canceled my order.

The sales rep wasn't too happy as I had ordered 7 shirts, so it was a big chunk of money they lost, LOL!!!

I just ordered two for my son and I. I actually called them to ask a couple questions and the girl helped me out right there.. she didn't charge me the s/h either Yahoo they will be here in 10 days!!

i got my personalized T-shirts last week-it took about 10 days from order to delivery which really isn't too bad- there is a pic of the disney crew dressed to go on vacation- i personalized mine with:

i love them and we will wear the shirts the day we board
hopefully this weekend if i get a chance i will post a pic

Last October we were a group of 9....

we just made our own shirts. I think we looked really cool People tend to notice a large group like us all in the same clothes (yeah, we don't like the attention )

I found this place, they have restrictions (you can't put what you want to say) just names and phrases they already have but "magical memories" is one if your taking the Magic cruise. It might be an alternative to those who just want soemthing personalized but not stcuk with white or the 8 graphics they give you.
