We are going November 5-13th. We will need two rooms at POR. Right now I have room only AAA reservations, hoping for an AP code.

BUT......One of those rooms will contain my mom, dad, aunt and I can throw in my 4 year old. Should I/Can I rebook two seperate reservations and put these people in one room with the 7/5 plan and book another reservation for me and dh and the baby under room only and wait for AP rates. We will not use 7/5 no matter what because dh and I are buying AP's because we are going on a very belated honeymoon next May.

So, can I book two reservations, maybe one in my name and one in my dad's name and still have a prayer of getting adjoining rooms?

The way I have figured it we will save a good deal of money this way, but I don't know that I have it figured correctly. Can any of you analyze this and help me sort this out??

Thanks! :hyper:

You can book 2 rooms. I believe they would both have to be in your name.

I would book both as 7/5 now and wait to see if there is an AP rate. If/when the rate comes out do the math to see which is cheaper. Perhaps booking both rooms with room only AP rate would be the way to go.

Get'm booked now, though.

HTH,
D
