Help me name my new miniature horse! (picture)

Anyway, just got this cute little guy as a companion for my other mini horse, Bruno. He is teeny tiny...29" at the withers (where the mane meets his back.) His registered name is one of those long crazy names that don't make a lot of sense. The woman I got him from had him in a petting zoo and his name was also multiple words, and I think just something "cute" to call him around the kids. He does not seem to know it is his name, whereas Bruno absolutely knows his name.

Any ideas? I really like human names for animals, but I am open to other ideas. My daughter likes Alfredo because he is the color of fettucine alfredo, but I am not so keen on that name. Any good suggestions?

Oh yay, it did post!

Here is Bruno and the new little guy. Bruno is 34" , but also built differently...he is very stocky. The new mini is basically the build and color of a large golden retriever.

Shorten her suggestion to Alfie??? In your other post, you said he was like a golden retriever, so you could go with Goldie, taking the name from actress Goldie Hawn.

Blondie, Honey and Goldie all sound too feminine. I love the names, tho. If he was a girl, he would be so much easier to name.

I love the name Oliver and actually had that on the list already. Also Spencer. Hmmm...

Gary makes me laugh...I think of Spongebob! Not sure if it suits him, tho.

a play on Alfredo might be good...not sure though. Again, I am just not "feelin'" it.

I though "Butch" might be cute..."Butch and Bruno." I do like names that end in a vowel, tho.

I know I seem like I am being picky, but please keep the names coming.

I thought of Bolt immediately and not because it's WDW related, although you could take it that way. DS suggested Junior and Small Fry. BTW, I knew a yellow lab named Noodles, so Alfredo isn't a stretch.

Buster? Max? Hugo? Freddie would be another play on Alfredo for DD.

too cute!! I need a pony badly for my dd7 and I cant find one anywhere!!! We actually have the tree people here today taking down the trees behind the barn so I can actually have a riding ring and a bigger paddock!!!

My first thought was "Tony" because of Bruno Tonioli from Dancing with the Stars.

Otherwise, I would go with a Germanic name like Bruno:
