Help me make a REALLY EARLY decision...

HI FOLKS!

So here's the deal-io:

I love, LOVE Old Key West. We have been to WDW 4 times in the last 4 years and the first 3 were at OKW. We've done GV, 2BR, and 1BR & studio. This year it was just the 5 of us so we did POR w/ FD. And it was good. POR is a nice resort with a good pool. But I do so miss OKW. We drove overnight (we normally take the train) and surprised the kids. Here's the proof:

So anyway, normally my MIL, FIL, and SIL go with making us 8. We will not be going in 2013 because we are surprising MIL and FIL with a cruise for their 50th wedding anniversary. Which leads me to Jan 2014 (or possibly Nov 2013, $permitting). We are inviting BIL and his wife to join us, which would make us 10. BIL's wife (we'll call her SIL2) had heart and double lung transplant in October and is coming home on Friday I would ASSUME that we will need at least one ECV in the parks for either MIL or SIL2, possibly 2. Normally when MIL comes with we rent inside the parks. I know it's more expensive, but getting an ECV on and off the buses all the time is a huge pain. She can walk very well, she's just not used to walking DISNEY miles. She gets along here at home fine.

Here's the question: I have always wanted to stay at Boardwalk, and I'm thinking this could be a great opportunity to do that. If we had 2 2BR's we could rent ECV's and save a little money. I say this because with the boat to HS and EP, we won't be riding the bus as much. And frankly, we might only do AK for one day. HS and EP are our favorite parks, but of course I would want to spend time at the new MK expansion. And we do like to visit the resorts, especially if we go in November when decorations are up. So will I miss the space of the OKW 2BR's?

If anyone has stayed at both, please help me decide!

no doubt the OK has larger rooms. but you will fall inlove with BWV wonderful area. you couldrent the skooter from care med 800-741-2282 I have many ti,es you have the skooter 24 hrs at a cost of $30 per day. Any problems they come right out. The lugguge desk will take the skooter at night kept it and charge it for you. sometimes a pain to take to your room.
BWV halls are very long and could be a long walk to your room. Just ask at the front desk for one closer to the elev.
